Nancy Pelosi: Please Shut Your Big Mouth

If Nancy Pelosi ever does anything gracefully, it will most certainly be the first time. It was bad enough she had to rattle off her "accomplishments " as House Speaker before turning over the huge gavel to the new House Speaker , John Boehner. She couldn't just congratulate him and take over her new seat as Minority Leader of the House. No, not Nancy. She had to rattle on and on about the Healthcare Bill they rammed down the throats of the American people. Ironically, it was that "crown jewel " of her chairmanship that cost the Democrats majority status on November 2, 2010. But, don't tell that to Nancy Pelosi. She is still pushing the Democrat talking points on everything from the economy to unemployment to losing the House on Republicans.

Thursday, on CNN, "former" House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had her excuses down pat for the loss of the House. What or who did she blame? If you said George Bush, you are not really psychic. It's just that we have all heard this tune before. The cause of all the bad things to happen over the past two years is all the fault of "former" George W. Bush. That's right. A former president who has been out of office for two years now. They blame Bush for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (which I can't disagree with on Iraq), 9.4% unemployment, a stagnant economy, the price of gas, the price of bread and for any tornado that happens to hit some unfortunate town in the Midwest. Pelosi went on to say "...that tax cuts for the wealthy ” as “their (Republicans) job creation initiative ." Again, the same talking points mantra we have heard from the Democrats for seemingly since the days of FDR. Nancy, it's time to get new material. In fact, all Democrats need to get new material. It was the same talking points that caused them to get blasted in the November 2 elections of last year. Nancy also went into the Stimulus bill spending and how it saved or created millions of jobs. It has done absolutely nothing and she knows it. The Unemployment figures released today show a mild decrease in unemployment from 9.8 to 9.4%. I have to ask, how much of that is due to temporary holiday jobs that now are no longer available? A significant amount, I'm sure. The NY Times, the Wasington Post, Time Magazine and all the other liberal media mouthpieces tell us the recession is over. Have you went to the supermarket lately? The cost of food is now out of control, along with the cost of gas. This is what we got for $787 billion taxpayer dollars? I mean, is this it?

I'm glad Nancy Pelosi mouths off the way she did on CNN. Every time Pelosi opens her mouth, she amply demonstrates how out of touch she is and the Democrats are in general with the rest of America. What kind of an idiot would say "Unemployment checks are the fastest way to create jobs?" I'll tell you what kind of an idiot. It is the kind of idiot that has never had a real job in his or her life. It is the same kind of person who doesn't have a clue about basic economics. This is the type of person we have had as Speaker of the House for the past four years. This is the same woman who stated "We need to pass the healthcare bill so we can see what is in it." And Nancy Pelosi thinks it is the fault of George Bush as to why they are no longer the majority party in the House? Progressives like Pelosi and Crazy Harry Reid never blame themselves for the ills of the country due to their socialist policies. I honestly believe they don't see themselves as being the problem of our economy and unemployment. They never will. In a way, that is a good thing. Their ego and self-serving socialist propaganda will cause them to sink further into minority status. For Americans, that is a good thing.

Sometimes, I see people such as Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and others of their ilk as 60s era hippies who never grew up. They live in a make believe world where all your wishes come true. All you have to do is just write up legislation to make them reality and to hell with ways on how to pay for them. Checks and balances mean nothing in their world. Debating with Democrats is like trying to debate a child. You present them with facts, they present you with emotion to counter. Democrats prove another thing to me also. Democrats are living proof that God must really have a very good sense of humor.
